About Us
FernRidge is a homestay in a unique situation. We have no road access and just a short path from the sheltered waters of Queen Charlotte Sound to our front door! We have been welcoming guests from all corners of the world since the summer of 2001.
As guests in our home you are welcome to share in the day to day happenings at FernRidge and there is also ample opportunity and space for privacy and for you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of our little piece of paradise.
We are well serviced by scheduled and on demand water taxis from Picton and we can book a service for you. Car storage is also available in Picton and we can advise on the facilities available. If you are walking on the Queen Charlotte Track we can collect you from the Torea Bay, Mistletoe Bay or Anakiwa wharfs.
Running our home-based business from FernRidge allows us to be flexible and we invite you to share in our relaxed 'sounds lifestyle'.
